Yes, in my opinion abortion should be legal where it can be performd humanely and a pregnancy is unwanted, or where a woman’s life is in danger or where the child is likely to be born with a severe disability or congenital condition.
Increasingly states are adopting an attitude that conforms with this opinion, in the teeth of vehement and often violent opposition from religious opinions. The outcome is a reduction in unwanted births and the emancipation of women from the slavery of enforced childbirth.
